Smoky Jack Ribs and Steak House (Cont)

Today, we went to Smoky Jack for lunch again. This time we managed to try the "Smoky BBQ Pork Ribs" and "Grilled Cod Fish". For your information, they only served 10 portion of the Smoky BBQ Pork Rib for daily lunch set.



Today they also have a new look menu, a more classy menu than the previous menu.



Set Lunch A (RM15.80++)

This time we choose to sit by the tunnel side, a totally different environment.


As usual, they served us mushroom soup and bread for set lunch ordered.


Grilled Cod Fish (RM18.80++)
As you can see, the portion of cod fish is quite small. So, never order this if you are starving.


Smoky BBQ Pork Ribs (RM18.80++)
The pork ribs is cooked for 3hours and 20minutes, and I can feel the pork ribs is very soft for the first bite. The pork ribs is fully coated with the taste of the special sauce as well. Just I think it would be much better if they can served it with more sauce.

Harvest In Cafe (Western & Oriental Cuisine)

Every weekend, I have to squeeze my brain hardly to think of new place for dine out. Luckily this week my dad help me lots. He suggested me to go try on "Harvest In Cafe" which located at 10, Irrawaddy Road, 10050, Penang. Harvest In is a western & oriental style cafe.



Those unique clocks on the wall are for sales, so if you interested maybe you can shop for clock as well.

We order set dinner, but I would not recommend you to go for set. As the soup is not so impressed & too salty.

If you like soup, I would recommend you to try on Salsa. The set lunch there is nice too. Of course, the soup & dessert served by Salsa is much better. How about price price? Salsa set lunch price range is RM13.90, RM15.90, RM18.90 & RM 24.90. Harvest In set lunch price range is about RM13.90 ~ RM18.90.

I went there recently to try the set lunch at RM16.90++, that time when I reach there is around 11:30am and only have 4 tables of customer. 2 tables of customer is dining and the other 2 customer is still waiting for the food to be served. Then, my dear and I have ordered 2 set of pan-fried fish with mushroom sauce. I have choose for the mushroom soup, whereas my pen had the oxtail soup. After awhile, I have served with the creamy mushroom soup with garlic bread.



The soup contains of lots mushroom and so thicky....yummy!






My dear oxtail soup is just so so.... Luckily I ordered the mushroom soup.

Personally I think that the oxtail soup is too oily and lack of the taste.




People are getting more and more around 12something, it's seem to be filled up Mizi Bistro. While waiting for our pan-fried fish, I have the ice cream first. Yeah...the ice cream is buffet style and you can have how many scoop as you wish. There have chocolate, strawberry, vanila, green tea, coffee and corn flavour.

Around 12:20pm, we getting frustrated as those customer that come later than us already served the food. Thus, we have complained this to the waitress and i personally feel that the kitchen side is quite disordered. Else how come the customer food did not served based on first in first out. Quite disappointed for this.

Finally, our food (pan-fried fish) is served in several minutes.
