Previously I have dine in at Opera (Oriental Cuisine) with my friends for 2times and i felt that the quality of fodd there are great. So, today I bring along my parent to try out this restaurant. The set lunch is available from Monday to Saturday nd cost for RM18++ (Service Charges - 10%) per set.  Today, the set lunch they served is Pan-seared Fish with Kerisik Creamy Sauce served with steamed rice & vegetables of the day and Grilled Chicken with Rosemary - Orange Reduction served with Spaghetti & vegetables of the day.
While waiting for the food, we still can go to upstairs and have a look on the antique displayed.

The quality of food is great as the chef is good enough to play around with those spices and of course the food presentation are good as well. At least it seem to be temptation.

Banana Leaf at Gelugor (Indian Food)

Today we are having Indian food at Banana Leaf in Gelugor which just nearby my house. I had ordered fried squid, chicken masala & beef masala. The steamed rice is refillable, but of course I didn't refill as I'm too full already. So far, the chicken masala and beef masala is great. Just I feel that the fried squid is not crispy enough. This meal for two person cost for rm20.

Dine in At Nippon Yataimura Japanese Restaurant

Nippon Yataimura Japanese Restaurant
LG-83 Queensbay Mall, Bayan Lepas, Penang.
Tel: 604-6468763

This is the first time we dine in at Nippon Yataimura Japanese Restaurant. We have ordered Kani Maki (sushi) as our starter. For main course, we have ordered Gekikara Ramen (Spicy) cost for RM16 and Chicken Teriyaki Set cost for Rm18. Gekikara Ramen (Spicy) is suitable for spicy lovers, as you can choose the level of spicy from 1 to 10. Of course, I just choose level 4 and I already can feel the hot and spicy from my stomach and even my mouth. Wow...really can't imagine how will the soup taste if it's level 10. Let me know if you have tried before.

Kocha Taiwanese Delight

Today I went to Kocha Taiwanese Delight for lunch. As usual I have ordered my favourite ~ Mini Beef Steamboat with sliced beef (RM18), Iron Egg (RM3.60), Plain Rice with Minced Pork Sauce (RM1.70) & Honeydew Pearl Tea (RM3.80). The beef soup is really taste great & the soup is refillable. The beef steamboat has some vegetables, cabbage, yam, corn, golden mushroom, fishcake, 2 beef balls, 2 chicken balls, prawn ball, tofu & a plate of sliced beef.
Beside, I also love the "Iron Egg" very muchie. Their special sauce really make the "Iron Egg" taste great. Although the egg is quite costly, as the "Iron Egg" is RM1.80 each egg. Anyway, the "Iron Egg" is worth to try out.
We have refill the beef soup for once only as this mini steamboat already make us bloated. Wow, this is really a wonderful lunch! Yummy...

Bak Kut Teh at Sg. Nibong

This Bak Kut Teh (Named Wo Lai Yeh) which is located at Sg. Nibong, Penang. This is the first time I tried it. Hmm...the soup is not bad and not too salty. The chopped ribs are not too oilyand the pork colon is well-cleansed, thus the taste is not bitter. Besides, there are some mushroom and taukua (like tauhu). Yet, the yam rice is tasteless and not good enough. If compare, I will more likely to dine in at the Bak Kut Teh at Gurney Drive area. The yam rice and the Bak Kut Teh is great.
